DJ Tom Moore

Since his start in the industry, Tom Moore has focused Unicorn 1 Productions towards the customer's wants and needs.  His years of experience in the entertainment field have allowed him to develop his own unique style that is both fun, yet non-intrusive.  Through detailed planning, and event coordination, every detail of your function will be attended to in a professional manner.  This will leave you and your guests to enjoy an event that will create the memories of a lifetime.     
 
Since establishing himself on the DJ scene, Tom has had the pleasure of performing at over 1100 weddings and more than 1600 private functions.  Tom's resume also includes playing at some of Boston's premiere night spots over the past 25+ years.  While performing at these venues Tom has had the pleasure of working with some of Boston's most well known radio personalities, such as; Matt Siegel, Billy Costa, Romeo, Joe Public, Ed McMann, J.J. Wright, Sunny Joe White, Vinnie Peruzzi and Mark Parenteau.  In addition, Tom has also served as the Friday Afternoon Producer of the "Mark Parenteau Show" on WBCN 104.1 FM from 1990-1992. 
 
In a promotion with Boston sport's talk legend Eddie Andelman, where a wedding was organized free of charge for one of Eddie's listeners, Tom served as the guest DJ and shared the entertainment and MC duties with the Bo Winiker Band as well as Joey and Maria's Comedy Wedding. 
 
For more than ten years, Tom served as the chosen disc-jockey for Kiss 108's "Kiss Concert VIP Party" where he has shared the stage with such pop stars as The Chainsmokers, Lil' Jon, Tinashe, Sean Kingston, One Republic, Icona Pop, Gavin DeGraw, Andy Grammer, Rachel Platten, Kris Allen, and Boys Like Girls.  In the past, Tom has also had the pleasure of working with 50's doo-wop groups "Herb Reed & The Platters", The Marcels", and "The Drifters" as well as 60's folk-rock group "The Turtles", blues great "Little Joe" Cook and Irish music legends "The Irish Rovers".

Tom has willingly given his time and services to The American Diabetes Association, The Boston Children's Hospital, The Jewish Philanthropies of Boston, The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The Jimmy Fund and The Steven T. Hill Stroke Foundation, as well as many political candidates and organizations.
 
Tom is also proud to have completed training at both Northeast Broadcasting School and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.  He was able to use the skills that he acquired from his training while serving as the co-host for "The Afternoon Study" on WMLN in Milton MA at the Curry College campus.  This radio program was designed to provide Light R&B, Jazz and Acoustic Rock selections to college students during their weekend study time, while also discussing current events and the news of the day.
 
On the personal side, Tom and his wife Karen are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Kaitlyn and Taylor.  In addition to her many duties as a Mom, Karen is also a member of the Unicorn One Productions team as their Office Assistant. 
 
When Tom can't be found performing at an event near you or spending time with his family, his interests include many of the local sports teams.  He is a fan of the Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics, as well as being an avid Nascar fan.  Tom also enjoys college basketball, college hockey, college football, golf,  fishing, billiards, and following the political scene.
